ACU-Serve, a leader in the health-care revenue cycle segment, has merged with Pinnacle Revenue Management, a leading provider of home infusion and ambulatory infusion center services.

“This strategic alignment strengthens ACU-Serve’s position in the health-care industry and expands its service capacity, offering clients a comprehensive and scalable solution for infusion services,” ACU-Serve, based in Akron, Ohio, said in an Aug. 5 news announcement.

In the merger, which became official on July 28, Pinnacle Revenue Management founder and CEO Jacqui Rose was named president of infusion at ACU-Serve, “ensuring continuity of leadership and a seamless transition for Pinnacle’s clients and employees,” the announcement added.

Derry, New Hampshire-based Pinnacle has more than 20 years’ experience in full revenue cycle management for businesses in the home infusion, specialty pharmacy, and infusion suites spaces. Its services include partial outsourcing, denial analysis, insurance eligibility and verification, and consulting on revenue cycle management areas of concern.

“This merger marks a pivotal moment for both ACU-Serve and the infusion industry,” said Jim Knight, ACU-Serve’s president/CEO. “By uniting our expertise, talent and technology, we are not only setting a new benchmark for excellence and innovation, but also reaffirming our commitment to high-touch service and operational transparency.”

The announcement added that Pinnacle’s “deep infusion expertise” will unite with ACU-Serve’s technology and resources, enabling clients to “gain access to a market-leading solution designed to optimize performance and compliance. The merger will leverage the proven methodologies of ACU-Serve and Pinnacle to deliver world-class operational excellence and client support.”

“Partnering with ACU-Serve allows us to elevate the infusion services we provide while staying true to the values our clients and employees trust,” Rose said. “Together, we are poised to deliver even stronger, more comprehensive solutions with the high level of service our clients have come to expect.”
