The American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare) is urgently seeking supplier input on a time-sensitive survey to gauge “the potential business and workforce impact” of the Remote Item Delivery (RID) model recommended by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Service (CMS) for Medicare competitive bidding.
The survey focuses on suppliers of continuous glucose monitors (CGMs), insulin pumps, ostomy supplies and urological supplies, all of which have been targeted for the 2028 competitive bidding round.
The survey, which is now open and takes less than two minutes to complete, closes on Friday, Aug. 28.
“The data is going directly into conversations with administration officials, CMS, and Congress, so strong participation matters,” AAHomecare told HME Business on Aug. 26. Individual responses will be kept strictly confidential, with AAHomecare sharing only aggregated results.
