JJ Pistoor, chief revenue officer of Geriatric Medical and DDP Medical Supply, is the new chair of the American Association for Homecare’s (AAHomecare) medical supplies council.
In an Aug. 20 announcement, Geriatric Medical and DDP Medical Supply said the medical supplies council “brings together AAHomecare member companies focused on the disposable medical supplies segment of the DME/HME [durable medical equipment/home medical equipment] industry, providing a forum for policy input, industry education and advocacy on issues affecting distributors, manufacturers and providers across the sector.”
Pistoor had previously been the vice chair of the medical supplies council.
“I’m honored to have been selected to lead this council,” Pistoor said. “It’s a privilege to work alongside such a committed group of providers, manufacturers and industry stakeholders, and I look forward to advancing the priorities that matter most to our members and the patients they serve.”
