Tactical Back Office (TBO) has promoted Lauren Barranti to vice president of payer relations, effective Sept. 1.
The Las Vegas-based provider of healthcare staffing, business process outsourcing and operational infrastructure for healthcare businesses made the announcement on Aug. 25. Barranti joined TBO in February.
“The promotion reflects TBO’s continued investment in expanding its integrated healthcare services platform, combining specialized expertise, operational infrastructure and fully trained healthcare professionals to help healthcare organizations strengthen operational performance, improve reimbursement and support long-term growth,” the company said in its announcement.
Since joining TBO in February, Barranti “has played an instrumental role in expanding TBO’s Service Hub, helping healthcare organizations strengthen payor relationships, improve reimbursement, negotiate favorable contracts, maintain credentialing compliance, and create more sustainable revenue strategies,” the company added. “Her promotion reflects years of successful client outcomes and her ability to deliver measurable improvements in reimbursement, compliance and long-term operational performance.”
In her new position, Barranti will continue to lead TBO’s Service Hub, “providing clients with executive-level expertise in payer contracting and negotiations, credentialing, provider enrollment, reimbursement optimization, compliance support and strategic payer relationship management,” the announcement added. “Working alongside TBO’s fully trained healthcare professionals, the Service Hub provides healthcare organizations with an integrated operational model that combines business process outsourcing with specialized healthcare expertise.”
Barranti, who has worked in healthcare leadership for more than 25 years, has served in the home medical equipment and managed care segments to help organizations strengthen their operations, reimbursement strategies and operational performance while creating sustainable growth.
“Lauren has become one of the most trusted resources our clients rely on,” said Todd Usher, founder and president of Tactical Back Office. “Her ability to build strong payer relationships, negotiate meaningful contractual improvements, and guide organizations through complex reimbursement and contracting challenges has produced exceptional results for our clients. This promotion reflects both her leadership and the tremendous value she brings to the healthcare organizations we serve.”
“I’ve spent my career helping healthcare organizations strengthen relationships with their payers while improving long-term operational performance,” said Barranti. “TBO has created a model where strategy and execution work together. Through the Service Hub, we help healthcare organizations improve reimbursement, strengthen compliance, and build the operational foundation needed to support sustainable growth.”
