SleepWorks, MedBridge Buy IntegraSleep, Active Healthcare CPAP Division

SleepWorks and MedBridge Home Medical announced have acquired IntegraSleep and the CPAP division of Active Healthcare, which together operate as the Sound Sleep Institute.

The Sound Sleep Institute is an integrated program that provides diagnostic sleep testing, CPAP equipment, and CPAP supplies for patients with sleep disorders. The transaction combines four well-known companies operating in and around Raleigh, N.C.

“Both SleepWorks and IntegraSleep place great emphasis on a patient-centric approach to sleep medicine,” said Robert Miller, vice president of Operations for SleepWorks. “Their focus, like ours, is to provide the best possible care for patients with sleep apnea and other sleep disorders, including the timely provision of CPAP equipment and replacement supplies,. Together, we will continue to provide innovative solutions and proactive care for people in the greater Raleigh market.”

“We are thrilled that our award-winning diagnostic sleep and CPAP supply program is going to a great home that values the tremendous goodwill we have built up in our community,” added Lisa Feierstein, RN, BSN, MBA, president of Active Healthcare. “Our transferring team members are dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition of service and support.”
