Healthcare Growth Group Launches Payer Network Development Service
HGG is led by home medical equipment experts on reimbursement and policy.

The Healthcare Growth Group (HGG) has introduced a comprehensive payer network development service designed especially for the challenges of the home-care market.

In an Aug. 21 announcement, HGG said the new service “is designed to meet the complex needs of growth-minded homecare organizations, ensuring that they can thrive in a competitive and highly regulated environment. By partnering with HGG, clients benefit from expert assistance with in-demand payer network development services, such as payer contracting, payer credentialing, payer relations, and other payer revenue development services. HGG provides custom growth solutions that are well-informed, clearly defined, and fully customized based on each client’s situation and business goals.”

The Phoenix, Arizona-based company is led by founder and Managing Director Richard Kovacik, JD, MBA, and Director Melanie Ewald, JD. Both are home medical equipment industry veterans, having served on the Payer Relations Council for the American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare).

“Our expert payer network development offering aligns with HGG’s mission to empower health-care organizations through innovative payer solutions and sustainable growth,” Kovacik said in the announcement. “Designed to meet the needs of our industry clients, the value-maximizing potential of HGG’s custom solutions lies in driving growth and achieving business objectives through a combination of well-informed, diligently planned, and skillfully executed strategies.”

HGG’s services include expert strategic implementation assistance with payer contracting, credentialing, payer relations, and strategic marketing.

HGG clients will have access to the experience and talents of “leading industry experts, working as part of an optimized, multi-functional team, without the fixed overhead or risks associated with hiring in-house payer executives and supporting teams.”

The turnkey nature of its services means HGG can support clients without disrupting the work of clients’ existing staffers.
