Hanger Orthopedic Group Appoints President of Innovative Neurotronics

Hanger Orthopedic Group Inc. named Jeff Martin as president of its wholly owned subsidiary, Innovative Neurotronics Inc. (IN)


Previously serving as vice president and managing director of Innovative Neurotronics Inc. since its inception in February 2004, Martin successfully brought the company’s first product, the WalkAide&reg, from concept through technical design, manufacturing feasibility, regulatory approval and clinical trials, to commercialization.


“Under Jeff’s direction, Innovative Neurotronics successfully demonstrated its ability to convert new technologies into viable products to improve the lives of patients,” said Hanger President and COO Thomas Kirk.


“We are confident Jeff’s vision and leadership will establish IN Inc. as the premiere company delivering neuromuscular products for patients suffering from various muscle impairments.”


Specializing in the field of functional electrical stimulation, IN Inc. identifies emerging Myo-Orthotics Technologies&reg developed at research centers and universities throughout the world that use neuromuscular stimulation to improve the functionality of an impaired limb. Myo-Orthotics Technology represents the merging of orthotic technology with electrical stimulation.
