Golden Technologies Announces The Spectrum Seating Program

February 1, 2006 by HME Business

OLD FORGE, Pa. &#151 Golden Technologies announced that The Spectrum Seating Program, a new approach to seating for its power chair lineup, is set to launch this month. The program offers consumers a wide selection of seating sizes and more standard seat sizes for power mobility.

“This is a bold step for Golden Technologies; one no other manufacturer has take,” said Rich Golden, CEO. “We now offer consumers three different seats in three different colors in a total of 45 sizes to get a truly custom fit on a consumer power base.”

The standard seats in the Spectrum Seating Program include the Captain’s seat, the deluxe high back seat and the van/pan seat. Seats in all three styles measuring 18×18, 18×20 and 20×18 inches will be standard seats, with no additional charge, through this new program. Spectrum Seating also includes Golden’s ProFlex seat and seats that are available on Golden’s scooters.

The Spectrum Seating program means that virtually anyone can fit into a Golden power chair comfortably. Golden has provided its dealers with an easy-to-use seating worksheet for power mobility to assist in ordering the right seat for customers. Through the program, Golden will provide dealers with the seating options at value-added, affordable prices. The three standard seat styles in the three standard sizes will ship in one to two days, while all other seats in the program will ship in five days or less.

“There is a niche market out there of patients who need the highest quality consumer power base with seating options that aren’t rehab options,” said Golden. “What we’re saying with the new Spectrum Seating Program is that you don’t have to be rehab to have seating options.”

Golden Technologies manufactures seat lift chairs, scooters, power wheelchairs and adjustable beds. The seats will be on display at Medtrade Spring, booth 1041. For more information, visit www.goldentech.com or call (800) 624-6374.
