Austin in August: Live music, tacos and world-famous bats. But the real draw this August 26-28 is our HME Business FUTURE conference, bringing together home medical equipment (HME) executives, expert and leaders.
Once again, we are co-located with our sister publication, Home Health Care News, and its FUTURE conference.
This year, however, we are leaning deeper into cross-sector collaboration: HME leaders will be on stage alongside home health, home care and hospice executives.
HME Business will have its own HME-focused track of panels throughout the event. But we’ll also come together with our home health colleagues for keynote sessions and a closing town hall.
Our panels include the HME C-Suite Download, where industry executives will provide real-world perspectives on the operational, financial and strategic challenges facing providers today; Turning up the Heat: Navigating Home-Based Care’s New Enforcement Landscape; State of M&A for At-Home Care and HME; and Medicare Advantage in HME: Negotiation Strategy, Denials and Margin Defense.
Those are in addition to our networking breakfasts, a networking lunch on Thursday, a welcome reception on Wednesday, and our Thursday night FUTURE After Dark, an exclusive, private live music experience at Antone’s Nightclub.
Our goal is to create a space that celebrates and supports leaders in multiple segments of home-based care — because connecting experts and leaders in all segments of home-based care leads to better outcomes for patients and caregivers, referral sources, payers and providers themselves.
I hope you’ll join me in Austin for education, reconnecting with old friends, meeting new colleagues, and yes — so many tacos.
