Automated Resupply for Sleep

August 17, 2022 by David Kopf

Resupply plays a pivotal role not only in sleep apnea patients’ therapy compliance and outcomes, but in the health of an HME provider’s business performance as well. That said, sleep resupply requires managing an enormous number of details for each patient. That’s why automating the process is so essential.

In the latest episode of the HME Business Podcast, Mike Lorenz, vice president of Resupply at HME software company Brightree, joins the podcast to talk about how far systems for automating resupply have come, the results they’ve achieved, and how providers can implement these tools into their businesses.

In the previous episode, Seth Johnson, the senior vice president of Government Relations for Pride Mobility/Quantum Rehab, offers an insider’s view of a virtual roundtable hosted on Aug. 3 by the National Council on Disability regarding Medicare funding of seat elevation systems for complex rehab, and how that might set the stage for a public comment push.

The HMEB Podcast examines essential news, trends, and developments and interviews industry experts to find out how HME provider owners and operators can run efficient, profitable, and growing businesses with an eye on patient care.
