ATLAS Technology’s latest technology launch is all about strengthening and nurturing suppliers’ relationships with their referral partners.
The Referral Acquisition Management Program (RAMP) will officially launch at Medtrade in Dallas, March 26-28. RAMP joins the ATLAS family of software options designed especially for the home medical equipment (HME) and Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) industries.
A February news announcement described RAMP as “different than traditional Contact Resource Management software in that it was designed specifically to manage the relationship with the medical professional that is a referral source of customers who are in need of the medical service/products offered by the company.”
Taking care of referral sources
William “Bill” Paul, ATLAS Technology’s founder and CEO, said in that announcement, “The addition of RAMP to our current ATLAS Technology software offerings — ATLAS Enterprise Software Platform, ATLAS Clinical Evaluation Software (ACES), and ATLAS-FIOS Service & Repair Education — gives our DME and rehab clients a more complete enterprise software designed specifically for their business. It’s a complete family of software offerings unique to the DME industry.”
RAMP can be used as stand-alone referral marketing software or can be included with and used as part of the full ATLAS Enterprise software suite. “We have been in this industry for over 20 years and understand the unique challenges encountered by our customers,” Paul said. “We have designed the best options to help them run their businesses more efficiently.”
RAMP manages supplier relationships with the clinicians — i.e., referral sources — who recommend patients to HME and CRT businesses.
The RAMP system also organizes referral contact lists; manages relationships with current and prospective referral sources, plus other contacts; and creates contact workflows for each referral source, including e-mails, texts, phone calls, in-person visits, and special events. RAMP can create custom workflows for each referral source by tracking and retaining communications histories and preferences. For example, RAMP can keep track of the fact that Dr. A prefers to receive emails and texts instead of phone calls, while Dr. B has attended previous DME supplier open house events.
Custom workflows are automated by sequence of contact type, frequency, salesperson, equipment type, and more. In the DME or CRT business office, staffers can use the notes section to document pertinent conversations. Real-time updates are available for the entire team to act on, and workflow tracking can determine best workflows for generating new patient business.
ATLAS Technology, headquartered in Las Vegas, will launch RAMP in booth 761 at Medtrade. ATLAS is also presenting an educational session — “Best Practices: Maximizing CRT Repairs in Your Business” — on Wed., March 27. Presenter Matthew MacPherson, ATP, co-CEO of ATLAS-FIOS, said the session will be “an in-depth look at some of the CRT service and repair problems and some solutions to aid in your CRT company operations and profitability. We will also talk about the right to repair and how it may impact our industry on a larger scale.
