The American Association for Homecare is encouraging providers to register early for its upcoming Washington Legislative Conferenceso that they can schedule the best possible appointments for advancing the industry’s legislative agenda.
Slated for May 22 and 23, this year’s event will be held at the Doubletree by Hilton Crystal City. Registration for the conference costs $49 for AAHomecare members and $99 for non-members. Providers wishing to register can do so by filling out and returning a downloadable PDF form at http://bit.ly/2RScA8f.
The association aims to use the annual legislative event to build on recent legislative and regulatory successes, according to AAHomecare President and CEO Tom Ryan.
“We need a strong turnout at this year’s Legislative Conference to keep the pressure on Congress to expand Medicare reimbursement relief, provide a longer-term solution for suppliers outside of bidding areas, fix oxygen payment policy, and protect access to CRT and ventilators,” he said. “In addition, the Legislative Conference will provide an opportunity for the HME community to respond to any significant issues raised in CMS guidance on the next bidding round, which is likely to be released before the Conference takes place.”
