Rely Medical Supply Rolls out ‘Rely Rewards’

Incontinence provider’s loyalty program lets customers accrue points they can apply to future purchases.

Rely Medical Supply Inc.  (Minneapolis, Minn.) has launched a new customer loyalty program, Rely Rewards, for its incontinence and urological customers.

Each customer receives 20 reward points upon signing up and accrues points with every purchase of a full-priced (non-clearance) item from the online store, earning one point per one dollar spent and 1.5 points for every dollar spent on a Rely-branded product. To earn additional points, customers get 20 points for every friend or family member referred to Rely Medical, and they earn an additional point per week for sharing Rely Medical on Facebook or Twitter. All points earned can be used for future purchases on full-priced products.

To ease registration, Rely Rewards requires no enrollment forms or fees; all customers are automatically registered when they create an account with the www.relymedical.com store.

"Online marketplaces are very competitive, and it is extremely costly to acquire new customers, that's why we want to reward our loyal customers at Rely Medical Supply,” explained Devon Dougherty, marketing director for Rely. “We want to keep them happy and satisfied with the service they receive from our store.”

The strategy appears to be working, as Rely reports thousands of customers have already enrolled and are earning points in the first week of the service.

“Rewarding [customers] for their loyalty and purchases is one small thing we can do to help increase their satisfaction with our shop and keep them coming back,” Dougherty added.
