Working to increase the ongoing value it has been providing its readers for longer than 25 years, HME Business magazine will launch a new podcast for the industry on Jan. 30.
The HMEB Podcast continues the HME Business editorial mission of delivering timely, impactful information that helps HME professionals shape their business strategies, drive efficiencies, and capitalize new revenue opportunities.
The podcast will examine key HME news, trends and developments, and interview industry experts to find out how HME provider owners and operators can run efficient, profitable and growing businesses while providing service and care that cements lasting patient and referral relationships.
“This is a job that we’ve been doing for years in the magazine, on the HME-Business.com website, in our e-Source enewsletter, and through our webinars,” said HME Business Publisher Karen Cavallo. “The HMEB Podcast is a logical extension of our mission to serve our readers and the HME industry.”
“Most of all, this is something our readers want us to do,” said HME Business Executive Editor David Kopf, who hosts the HMEB Podcast. “We surveyed our readers about their podcast listening habits, and while 56 percent of our readers currently listen to podcasts, a whopping 80 percent of them told us that if we released a podcast, they would listen to it — that includes readers who currently don’t listen to podcasts.”
Kopf said that the survey detailed both quantitatively and qualitatively, exactly what HME Business and e-Source readers want from an industry podcast and how they want it provided to them.
“I’m really excited about this,” he said. “We have a chance to work with a lot of stakeholders to give HME professionals exactly what they want in a podcast.”
Again, the HMEB Podcast will debut on Jan. 30, and providers can subscribe and listen to it via Apple Podcasts and iTunes, Google Play, and Stitcher.
