In a move to quash an IT rumor mill, HME software company Mediware affirmed its support for its various software offerings.
“Please be assured that Mediware will not sunset any of our existing platforms in the near future,” an electronic newsletter from Mediware read. “We are allowing our customers to plan and prepare for any future migration, which we anticipate will occur over several years. In the meantime, we continue to invest in and update our established products with regulatory revisions, defect changes and enhancements, as required.”
Over recent years, Mediware has acquired serveral software companies, such as Definitive Homecare Solutions, Fastrack and MediServe. In addition to offering its CareTend software, Mediware also offers various systems that came from those purchases.
The company directed any users with questions or concerns, to contact Paul O’Toole, vice president and general manager of Mediware’s Mediware Home Care Solutions Division, via email at paul.otoole@mediware.com.
