West Virginia mobility and accessibility provider 101 Mobility is leveraging its staff and resources to expand its business beyond its Veterans Administration (VA) FSS contract to include retail markets in Clarksburg, Morgantown, and Martinsville, W. Va.
With 19 percent of West Virginia’s population comprised of non-institutionalized civilians living with a disability – the highest average in the country, according to the Census Bureua’s 2011 American Community Survey — 101 Mobility is eager to begin servicing customers across the state, according to Keith Barnhardt, the provider’s senior vice president of Corporate Operations.
“Entering the retail market has always been something we’ve wanted to do and we are thrilled to provide accessibility solutions to not just veterans, but everyone in the area,” Barnhardt said. “Our goal is to provide all of our neighbors with a mobility resource that they can trust.”
With expertise in access products such as wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, auto lifts and patient lifts, 101 Mobility said ti is ready to serve the accessibility needs of families and businesses in territories covered by its corporate location in Clarksburg. Staff from the provider will travel to residents’ homes to perform on-site evaluations, professional product installations, and warrantee maintenance.
Also, to reach retail customers in Clarksburg, Morgantown, Martinsburg, and surrounding areas, 101 Mobility has launched a website with product information help its clients find what they need. The corporate store aims to become West Virginia’s first choice in mobility and aging in place solutions.
