The VGM Group has promoted Barry Thwaits to the newly created role of executive vice president, customer success, VGM & Associates.
Thwaits, who joined VGM in 2022, has been the member service organization’s senior vice president of business development. A Feb. 17 news announcement noted that Thwaits “brings extensive experience in global account management and strategic sales growth from his previous roles at Philips’ Medical, Sleep & Home Respiratory; Nanowave Air, a division of Dynamics; Ebb Therapeutics; Verustat/Sleep 8; Inova Labs; and Philips Respironics.”
“VGM has an ongoing responsibility to our members and partners to provide the highest levels of problem solving and innovation to keep our customers ahead of the market,” said Lindy Tentinger, president of VGM & Associates, in the announcement “Barry’s experience both at VGM and previously in the industry positions us for the changing landscape our members and partners are facing.”
“VGM’s position in the marketplace and our future growth requires us to look at business differently for our providers, to show them the future and the roadmap to success,” said VGM Group CEO Jeremy Stolz. “Barry is perfect for this role, and we are fortunate to have an industry expert like him leading our customer success initiatives.”

The announcement added that VGM will be seeking a corporate account executive with HME industry experience to join Thwaits’s team.
