TiLite has announced that it has begun shipping its all new TiLite TX. The TX is an adjustable, compact folding wheelchair. “Eight years ago, TiLite entered the wheelchair market to offer customization, performance, quality and style never before available. TiLite’s new TX successfully completes the goal of creating a line of manual folding titanium wheelchairs that can be tailored to each user’s unique requirements.” said David Lippes, TiLite’s chairman and CEO.
Responding to feedback from its customers, the TX was developed using rapid prototyping and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). The TiLite TX incorporates a new cross-brace design that, when combined with a welded one piece side frame, will give folding chair users near rigid chair performance and a smooth ride.
