Spiro Health has acquired Absolute Respiratory Care (Johnston, R.I.).
The acquisition will help Spiro Health operate across Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
Spiro Health was formed in April by three New England HME providers, America’s HealthCare at Home (Baltimore), Cape Medical Supply (Sandwich, Mass.), and Health Complex Medical (Waterbury, Conn.).The three merged to form the larger Spiro Health umbrella care organization serving the region.
Absolute Respiratory Care offers a full range of medical equipment and supplies, with an emphasis on sleep therapy solutions. Since 2005, it has evolved to leverage innovations such as wireless monitoring and to create a touchless telehealth model for sleep therapy.
That mindset should mesh well with Spiro’s focus on new technology solutions to provide its patients and partners a seamless experience when ordering home medical equipment and supplies (HME).
