September Wellness Challenge to Benefit NHIF Research Grant Program
The National Home Infusion Foundation is encouraging industry professionals to care for themselves and others.

August 13, 2026 by Laurie Watanabe

This September’s National Home Infusion Foundation (NHIF) Wellness Challenge is doubly rewarding, as participants can seek to improve their own quality of life while supporting the foundation’s research grant program.

The Wellness Challenge encourages participants to “Do good for you” via a range of activities such as walking, playing tennis, swimming, scheduling a wellness screening, trying meditation, unplugging from technology and taking on a new hobby or online class.

Participants can “Do good for others” by volunteering their time at a senior center, donating money or goods to a local charity, showing gratitude by sending a thank you note, and checking in with friends and neighbors.

Each completed activity earns points, with Wellness Challenge Teams turning those points into donations from supporters. Participants who don’t have a team can pay $40 to join an existing team (including Patients Are a Virtue and Old MacDonald Had a Pharm).

NHIF has set an overall event goal of $20,000, with all proceeds to fund “the development of new home infusion industry research performed independently by NHIA members.”
