Rehab Medical Opens New Office in Louisiana

May 4, 2023 by Laurie Watanabe

Rehab Medical is now open for business in the state of Louisiana.

In a May 1 news announcement, the Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) provider said Claire Murphy, ATP, would lead the new office.

Murphy, who has worked for Rehab Medical in the Gulf Coast region for five years, was recently promoted to lead the new office, which will have a staff of eight.

Kevin Gearheart, Rehab Medical’s President, said in the announcement, “Rehab Medical is excited to expand into a new state. This allows us the opportunity to bring our mission of improving lives to more people in need of our services. Promoting a key employee into a leadership role ensures that we will hit the ground running.”

And Rehab Medical indicated more growth is imminent: “The company expanded into Cleveland, Ohio, at the beginning of April and will be finalizing a new Georgia location later this month,” the news release said.

Rehab Medical currently serves more than 22,000 clients per year with offices in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah. Rehab Medical is headquartered in Indianapolis.
