Continuous positive airway pressure is the treatment of choice; however, adherence to therapy is hampered by many factors. This session will review the negative health impacts of sleep apnea and how a compliance program can have a beneficial impact on health and economics as well as reducing professional liability.

This session will help you understand this policy in order to successfully incorporate R.A.D. into your respiratory services. These items are paid at a high rate of reimbursement and are, thus, a target item. This session will help you prevent over-payments in post-payment audits.

Marquard, Applied Home Healthcare Equipment Inc. will explain why dealer certification session is designed to help oxygen dealer / providers and those who are interested in the oxygen business understand and meet regulatory requirements. Designed for both beginners and intermediate level oxygen dealers and providers, this session will explain the safe handling of oxygen presented including eye catching demonstrations and visuals. Regulatory registration, training, and documentation is discussed and reviewed. A passing score of 70 percent on a short (10 question) examination is required for dealer certification.
