April 27, 2017 by David Kopf

Ryan Williams has been named president of Etac North America, where he will oversee the the Convaid and R82 brands in North America.

Williams will report directly to Etac AB CEO Torben Helbo, who praised the new North American leader.

“Ryan is a dynamic, results-orientated leader with over 20 years of experience in healthcare and has a proven record of success in building strong teams,” Helbo said. “He has the ability and vision to set and meet goals through strategic business development. The Etac Board is convinced that Ryan will deliver on strategic priorities, build a strong team and deliver efficiencies to advance Etac NA’s growth agenda.”

Williams, 43, is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, and started his career as a hospital administrator. He later served as CEO for Avera Health System in Sioux Falls, S.D. and as COO of Irvine, Calif.-based Passy-Muir for nearly a decade.

“I am excited to join such a dynamic and growth-orientated company,” Williams said. “I look forward to building on the success of each brand and ETAC NA.”
