AAHomecare Continuum of Care Planned for Medtrade

July 1, 2007 by HME Business

AAHomecare will be hosting two pre-conference sessions at Medtrade, Oct. 1 at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando designed to educate providers on reimbursement strategies as well as offer continuing education credits in different product categories.

The first session sponsored by Remit DATA, The Reimbursement Process from Beginning to End, will provide information about preparing operational processes for compliance with government and third party payer requirements, from intake to payment, ensuring the process is done correctly. The conference will also cover third party payer audits and areas of concern from the OIG annual report of audits for the coming year, giving providers time to to address impacted business areas.

The second session, AAHomecare’s Continuum of Care Conference, sponsored by Home Health Products’ sister publication, Mobility Management, Respironics and ResMed, offers continuing education (CEUs/CECs) and a comprehensive look at the issues and challenges that rehab, respiratory, orthotics and prosthetics, and other providers face. This one-day workshop will educate business owners and clinicians about clinical protocols, operational issues, and legal guidelines. Providers can earn continuing education units and network with colleagues in the industry to gain cutting-edge insight.
