Orthotic, prosthetic and mobility manufacturer Ottobock has promoted Matt Swiggum as its new executive vice president of sales for North America, and Frank Oschell to national director of sales for mobility solutions.
Swiggum began his tenure with Ottobock in 1997 as a sales representative and has worked his way up the company’s ranks of sales leadership, holding the positions of director of sales for technical orthopedics, business unit director for mobility solutions and most recently vice president of mobility solutions.
In his new role, Swiggum will lead Ottobock sales representatives across all business units with the goal to expand the region’s selling skills, share best practices, and ensure that all customers get the best, most consistent Ottobock experiences when working with the company.
Oschell holds a degree in Biological Bases of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania and joined Ottobock in 2007 as a sales representative. He most recently held the position of eastern regional sales manager for the mobility solutions business unit.
In his newly created role, Oschell will head all related sales activities for the U.S. Complex Rehab division of Ottobock. There, he will work directly with national and key accounts and continue to support and develop current and future partnerships.
