National healthcare provider Virtis Health has cut the ribbon on an ambulatory infusion center (AIC) in the Atlanta area.
Located at 1600 Oakbrook Drive, Suite 560B, in Norcross, Ga., Virtis Health Atlanta offers therapy management services and treatments for patients with autoimmune disorders, including chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, multiple sclerosis and myasthenia gravis.
The AIC also provides treatments for and manages patients with various inflammatory conditions, such as thyroid eye disease, Crohn’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis, as well as primary immunodeficiencies and rare and ultra-rare diseases.
Virtis Health Atlanta will serve patients residing throughout the Atlanta area, including those in Norcross, Dunwoody, John’s Creek, Alpharetta, Duluth, Lawrenceville and Cumming as well as surrounding communities.
A division of Soleo Health, which offers complex specialty pharmacy services administered in the home or at alternate sites of care, Virtis provides therapeutic and diagnostic services for patients with complex conditions requiring specialty infusible and injectable medications.
Turquoise Holmes, FNP, was appointed nurse practitioner at Virtis Health Atlanta, supervising the overall clinical practice. Holmes is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and former ICU nurse. In her new role, Holmes will manage all patients’ needs and assess, diagnose and treat both general and chronic illnesses. In addition, clinical pharmacists are also available at Virtis Health Atlanta as needed.
