Petito, OTR/L, MBA, ATP, CAPS, CEAC, is VGM’s new director of clinical networks. In an Oct. 23 press release, VGM said, “Cindi brings with her over 29 years of experience in multiple health-care settings, including Complex Rehab, as well as being a certified home accessibility specialist and key opinion leader in home modification and accessibility. She also has more than 20 years of working with both Medicare and Medicaid, commercial insurance companies, and workers comp programs.”

The member services organization added that Petito will support both U.S. Rehab and VGM Live at Home, “and she will lead the charge to build out a network of occupational therapists that will allow VGM to increase referrals to members, amongst many other initiatives, to better align mutual efforts and support market growth.”

“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this outstanding organization, support VGM’s members and vendor partners, and the industries to which I have devoted my career,” Petito said in the announcement. “I wholeheartedly believe in our vision for growth and the positive impact we will achieve together.”

Nikki Grace has joined VGM as its new director of the Orthotic and Prosthetic Group of America (OPGA).

VGM’s announcement said Grace “will support VGM’s OPGA community and continue advancing the O&P [orthotics and prosthetics] profession for OPGA’s members and supplier partners. Nikki is a dedicated advocate and leader in osseointegration education in the O&P field. In her previous role as the director of North American operations for Osseointegration International, Nikki offered support to amputees worldwide.”

Osseointegration is a surgical procedure that fits a prosthetic implant into the residual bone at the site of an amputation, according to the Osseointegration Group, an orthopedic surgery provider in New South Wales.

“I am thrilled to join OPGA and honored to contribute to its legacy during such exciting times for the O&P profession,” Grace said. “With new technologies emerging and a new generation of clinicians entering the field, I am eager to support OPGA members by creating opportunities for access to care through education, business development and member services.”

“We are extremely excited for Cindi and Nikki to join VGM & Associates and expand our team of experts to strengthen the programs we offer to our members and the entire industry,” said Lindy Tentinger, president of VGM & Associates. “Both of these women have been such a force in their respective areas already, and as we stand on the cusp of a new horizon, VGM’s dedication to guiding the future and helping our members’ businesses thrive will undoubtedly flourish with Cindi Petito and Nikki Grace on our team.”
