VGM Announces ‘Competitive Bidding Round 1.2’ Events

VGM Group Inc.’s National Competitive Bidding Services has released the 2009 schedule for its “Competitive Bidding Round 1.2: The Rules Have Changed” conferences. Dates and locations are:

  • March 24, Las Vegas (during Medtrade Spring)
  • March 31, Miami
  • April 2, Cincinnati
  • April 7, Pittsburgh
  • April 14, Kansas City, Mo.
  • April 16, Riverside, Calif.
  • April 22, Baltimore (during HME Expo)
  • April 28, Orlando, Fla.
  • April 30, Charlotte, N.C.
  • May 5, Cleveland
  • May 7, Dallas

Presenters for Competitive Bidding Round 1.2 will be Mark Higley, VGM vice president-development and John Gallagher, VGM vice president-government relations. They will discuss various topics, including:

  • Evaluation of Round One in the area, including lessons learned.
  • The rules and regulations of competitive bidding.
  • Disqualified providers.
  • Bidding options.
  • Bid preparation.
  • Hard-copy documentation.
  • The legislative battle.

The seminars, which run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., cost  $229 for VGM Group Members or state association members, and $279 for all other attendees. The fee includes breakfast, lunch, education materials and the VGM NCB Services bidding packet. Registration may be completed at www.vgmNCBservices.com.
