U.S. Rehab will offer Assistive Technology for the ATP, a review course that will examine topics covered on the RESNA ATP exam during 2009.
The course will be offered twice during the year, and is scheduled for April 28 to 29 in Sacramento, and Sept. 15 to 16 in Richmond. Elizabeth Cole, U.S. Rehab’s clinical director, will present the course.
Topics to be covered include anatomy, biomechanics and disability; service delivery; seating and wheeled mobility; AAC, EADL/ECU and computer technologies; AT for sensory impairments; funding and legislation; and test-taking strategies.
