Orlando, Fla.-based Total Medical Solutions (TMS), a company that provides home health products and services for the workers’ compensation industry, has named Cara Barde its president.
Barde joined TMS in 2003 and most recently served as director of marketing. She has held positions in nearly every department in the company, including durable medical equipment, operations, sales, accounts receivable, provider relations, and analyst.
Barde holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Vermont, and her career includes a public relations position with Porter Novelli in New York City and marketing positions with Symantec Software and RentNet.com/Move.com in San Francisco.
Founded in 1994, TMS services include home health care, catastrophic care services, home infusion therapy, custom mobility, home modifications, assistive technology and durable medical equipment and supplies.
