Supreme Medical, Derma Sciences Partner to Distribute MEDIHONEY Wound Dressings

January 24, 2008 by HME Business

Supreme Medical Fulfillment Systems has partnered with Derma Sciences, Inc. to promote and distribute MEDIHONEY Wound Dressings to its national customer base.

MEDIHONEY dressings provide a moist, occlusive environment conducive to optimal wound healing. As wound exudate is absorbed, the alginate forms a gel, making the dressings easy to remove without disrupting the wound bed.

The dressings are indicated for the management of moderate to heavily exuding wounds, such as diabetic foot ulcers, leg ucers (venous stasis ulcers, arterial ulcers and leg ulcers of mixed etiology), pressure ulcers / sores (partial and full thickness), first and second degree partial thickness burns, donor sites, and traumatic and surgical wounds.

Clinical information regarding product usage, as well as, wholesale pricing and reimbursement information is featured at www.suprememedical.com to help wound care professionals understand how to integrate the dressing into their current continuum of care.
