Slick Chicks Adaptive Apparel Now Available at CVS
The clothing was designed for women with limited mobility due to limb differences, surgeries, and disabilities.

Slick Chicks launched its adaptive briefs and bras at Target stores last year. The female-founded company is also open to working with other distributors as it seeks “to make adaptive apparel more widely available in retail stores,” the company said in a May 19 announcement.

The adaptive clothing was designed “for women with limited mobility from surgery, health conditions, limb differences, other disabilities, and their caregivers,” the announcement added. The garments feature Velcro fasteners, front zippers, moisture-wicking and antimicrobial fabrics, and a tag-free design to make the clothing more comfortable to wear and easier to put on and take off.

“It’s essential that adaptive apparel is easily accessible to everyone,” said Helya Mohammadian, Slick Chicks’ founder and CEO. “Adaptive clothing shouldn’t be restricted to specialty items found only online or in a few select stores.”

The current lineup includes classic and high-waist briefs, wireless zip front bras, and front-fastening bras with Velcro closures, as well as lounge wear, such as hoodies, sweatshirts, and pants.
