San Diego, CA oxygen systems maker SeQual Technologies has announced an internet dealer policy to address the suggested advertising price of its products when listed on the Internet, as well as radio, television and newspapers.
“It was something we needed to do because of all the debates that have been ongoing, all the cuts in reimbursement and how transparent the Internet has made pricing,” said Ron Richard, SeQual’s senior vice president of sales and marketing.
The policy also requires Internet dealers to offer a quality maintenance program that offers continued service plans and support for patients, SeQual says.
“Manufacturers are going to be challenged in the future by having to deal more and more with patients, particularly on the service side,” Richard said.
“We are excited to work with our dealers in the ever-changing world of internet savvy consumers,” he continued. “We expect internet sales to rise and are excited to work with our Approved Dealers in the future.”
