ResMed’s AirView sleep patient management system will now directly integrate with HME billing and business management software Brightree.
“Directly integrating with ResMed’s comprehensive AirView patient management system gives Brightree users added capabilities within the software environment and workflows they rely on every day, making it easier for HMEs to focus on patient care as well as long-term business goals,” said Dave Cormack, president and CEO of Brightree.
The AirView-Brightree integration is the latest development in a relationship between the two companies that began in 2013 as part of an initiative to improve workflows for providers using systems and services from both companies. Moreover, the announcement is one of multiple enhancements planned for 2015, according to ResMed. Past advances have included Brightree integration with ResMed’s U-Sleep sleep compliance solution, as well as a data exchange agreement allowing HMEs to order ResMed equipment directly from the Brightree platform.

This direct integration was accomplished via the ResMed Data Exchange program, a comprehensive suite of software and service solutions that allows for the integration of valuable sleep and respiratory treatment data from ResMed’s AirView and U-Sleep patient management platforms with electronic medical records, billing, and care management applications.
