ResMed SaaS Sees Leadership Shift

August 26, 2021 by HME Business

ResMedResMed has promoted Bobby Ghoshal to president of ResMed’s SaaS business, effective immediately.

Ghoshal replaces Raj Sodhi, who will be leaving full-time employment at ResMed, effective Sept. 1.

Ghoshal brings more than 25 years’ experience in the medical and technology industries, most currently serving as ResMed’s Chief Technology Officer.

From February 2016 until April 2018, Ghoshal served as chief operating officer for post-acute software company Brightree, which is owned by ResMed.

ResMed reported it has started the search process for a new CTO and Ghoshal will remain in the CTO role until a replacement is found.

“Digital solutions, scalable digital platforms, and software embedded into our customers’ workflows are critical to our growth strategy — Bobby’s experience as ResMed’s CTO, his hands-on experience with Brightree, and his strong background across many industries makes him the right leader to accelerate our SaaS business to meet our goals for 2025 and beyond,” said Mick Farrell, ResMed’s CEO.

“I’d like to thank Raj for the incredible work he’s done over the past nine years at ResMed,” Farrell added. “Raj played an important role in developing the healthcare informatics function at ResMed, a function that helped to transform the company on our path to becoming the leader in digital health.”
