ResMed has launched the second-generation of its ReSupply solution, a program that helps providers ensure sleep apnea patients adhere to their long-term PAP therapy.
ReSupply automates and manages the resupply process for both the patient and the provider while providing timely PAP replacement supplies to patients.
“Automating the resupply process is critical to maximize patients’ success on therapy, as well as HMEs’ business efficiency,” said Raj Sodhi, ResMed’s SaaS president.
With the new platform, patients who meet compliance requirements are automatically enrolled into the program, and they can choose their preferred method for contact, including text, email or a live phone call. Through the platform’s patient portal, patients can order supplies on their computer or mobile device.
“The new resupply platform is simple and easy to use — everything you need is at your fingertips,” said Kera Tennyson, a PAP location manager at Advanced Medical Solutions (Ann Arbor, Mich.).
ResMed found in its 2018 ResAdhere study of more than 100,000 patients that sleep therapy users who had been enrolled in the program were 50 percent less likely to stop PAP devices within the first year.
“PAP is a lifelong commitment, so it’s important that we help support our patients’ therapy for the long term,” Tennyson added. “ResMed ReSupply helps us do just that.”
