ResMed (NYSE: RMD; ASX: RMD) has launched a continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) mask with a fabric-wrapped frame for greater patient comfort.
In a Sept. 30 press release, San Diego, California-based ResMed said the AirTouch N30i was “designed to create a natural and comfortable sleep experience.” The new mask features a fabric-wrapped frame with “a soft, breathable and moisture-wicking design for optimal comfort in a tube-up design.”
Enhancing the CPAP mask’s comfort, ResMed said, was a strategic decision “designed to make it easier for people to start and stick with CPAP therapy. The AirTouch N30i combines softness, breathability and a high-performance seal to deliver exceptional comfort in a nasal mask.”
