A new partnership between RedSail Technologies and NationsBenefits is making it easier for Medicare Advantage and Medicaid beneficiaries to use their NationsBenefits prepaid benefits cards at more than 6,000 independent pharmacies across the United States.
In an Oct. 1 news announcement, RedSail Technologies — which owns PioneerRx pharmacy management software and provides supplemental benefits and healthcare financial solutions — said the partnership would provide “greater access to approved pharmacy, wellness and over-the-counter (OTC) products for members.”
“Health plan members can use their NationsBenefits Benefits Mastercard Prepaid Card to purchase approved pharmacy and wellness essentials and OTC items at PioneerRx-affiliated pharmacies,” the announcement said. “This integration aligns with NationsBenefits’ mission to enhance member convenience and promote healthier living through cutting-edge, technology-driven solutions.”
