Quantum Rehab has launched a new website, www.iLevel.rehab, dedicated to it iLevel power seat elevation technology.
The iLevel is a power wheelchair seating platform that provides users with up to 10 inches of lift while simultaneously stabilizing the chair so that it can travel up to 3 mph while fully elevated. The iLevel is available on Quantum’s Q6 Edge 2.0 power chair.
To help prospective iLevel users, clinicians and rehab equipment providers understand the quality of life benefits conferred by such a seating solution, the iLevel website offers information on how iLevel seat elevation technology improves the health, safety, functionality and independence of power wheelchair users. The site uses interactive media, and provides in-depth examples of how iLevel helps users remain mobile at eye-level, standing height while operating the power wheelchair at walking speed
“When iLevel went through beta testing and subsequent full-time use, clients told us of so many aspects of their lives that it enhanced, so we knew it went beyond previous seat lifts toward dramatically improving quality of life,” said Megan Kutch, M.S. O.T.R., director of Quantum marketing. “We realized through the users’ eyes the life-changing characteristics of iLevel, and sought a website and content that conveys the extraordinary impact. Users show us that iLevel isn’t just a technology, but a vital complex rehab solution toward daily functionality and quality of life – and the dedicated website reflects their experiences.”
“There have been misconceptions regarding ‘seat lifts’ in the past, from clinical benefits to funding,” explained Julie Piriano, P.T., ATP/SMS, director of rehab industry affairs for Quantum. “Therefore, we wanted the iLevel website to likewise serve as an educational and advocacy tool when it comes to power-adjustable seat height and its essential benefits in users’ lives.”
