Pride to Cut Power Lift Recliner Prices

October 5, 2017 by David Kopf

Manufacturer of power mobility devices and related items Pride Mobility Products reports that it will reduce prices on its power lift recliners by 10 percent during Fourth Quarter.

Knowing that providers are facing reduced funding and increases competition from outside the industry, the manufacturer said the move was aimed at giving HME providers some additional support. Pride noted that furniture stores, discounters, e-commerce outlets and other businesses have been working to capitalize on the “significant increased interest” in power lift recliners demonstrated by the 76 million-person Baby Boomer age cohort.

The manufacturer also underscored the importance of Fourth Quarter sales in the provider community, and said it’s discount program would begin Oct. 1 and run to the end of the year. The discount covers all Pride Quick-Ship Power Lift Recliners. That said, it’s important to note that charges for special orders and builder options still stand.

“Our provider community has been supporting Pride and our family of products since our beginnings in PLRs in 1986,” Micah Swick, national sales director for Pride, said. “It’s always been a partnership. This is one more way we can support our providers.”
