Pride Mobility has updated its Pride and Quantum Owner’s Club social networking site with an eye on increasing members’ ability to build community and interact, as well as offer more online education tools.
The site functions like social networking sites such as FaceBook, letting users share pictures, videos, blog entries and other information. It also includes an updated version of the Pride Web Talk message boards, a popular component of the online community, according to Pride. The new version allows for condition-specific forums and groups to help similar patient groups convene and share information.
Pride says it based the upgrades on feedback from it’s Owners Club members.
“We solicited the feedback of current members and product owners we had the opportunity to meet at the Abilities Expos across the country” said Dick McLane, Pride’s general manager of Product Marketing, in a public statement.
“I’ve made a lot of good friends in the Owners Club and have gotten some great advice,” said longtime Owners Club member Mike Slotwinski. “The new extras really bring us together as a community. I really enjoy seeing everyone’s videos and photos.”
