Pride Mobility has introduced a second scooter to its platinum lineup.
The Victory Platinum, assembled at the manufacturer’s Mississippi facility, features Pride’s EZ Turn system, which provides tight turning abilities for greater maneuverability while maintaining the stability of a four-wheeler.
“With a 45.5-inch turning radius, it’s the most agile four-wheel Victory scooter we’ve designed,” Pride Mobility said in its April 7 press release.
The new Victory Platinum also features Pride’s Charge360 magnetic charging technology, which enables the charger to connect easily to the underside of the tiller without needing to align any pins to make the connection. The charger, which swivels in place when connected, illuminates to indicate when it’s connected to the scooter.
The tiller angle can be adjusted via a lever on the tiller as the rider remains seated. A full front and rear suspension is designed to provide a comfortable ride, even when the Victory Platinum drives over uneven terrain.
Feather-touch disassembly makes the scooter easy to take apart for transport; the heaviest piece after disassembly is the front section, which weighs 67 lbs. The Victory Platinum has a 400-lb. weight capacity, a top speed of 6 mph, and a battery range of up to 15.5 miles per charge.
A front storage basket and rear view mirrors come standard. The scooter also features a “maximum-intensity” LED headlight, a water-resistant console, and a seat measuring 18×17 inches.
Available accessories include a cane/crutch holder, a cell phone holder, a lap belt, military patches, an oxygen tank holder, a rear basket, a saddlebag, a safety flag, a walker holder, and a weather cover.
Riders can choose from cardinal red matte or iceberg blue matte. The Victory Platinum is HCPCS coded K0899; it is not PDAC coded.
