Pride Mobility Products Corporation announced its Rental Ready Program, an offering of products and services to help providers transition to the rental environment. The elimination of Medicare’s First Month Purchase Option has presented DME business owners with numerous challenges, and the program is designed specifically to help authorized Pride providers succeed.
According to Pride, its Rental Ready Program includes the Rental Ready Jazzy Select Elite. The Jazzy Select Elite has been adapted and armored to meet a provider’s Standard Power needs. New rental ready features include a solid, color-through shroud, and a black high-back seat with removable, replaceable foam and vinyl. The rental ready Jazzy Select Elite also features a standard shroud and controller guards to protect it from daily wear and tear.
“We went directly to providers to get their feedback on what a power chair needed to be in the new rental environment,” said Scott Meuser, Pride Mobility’s chairman and CEO. “That information guided our design process and allowed us to develop a durable, high-quality unit that can withstand the rigors of the rental environment. Providers also wanted a power chair that could be easily refurbished and returned to the field. Features like protective Jazzy Armor and affordable refurbishment kits for the most common wear items help to meet this need.”
Providers can take advantage of a 13-month warranty on all Group 1 and Group 2 power wheelchairs K0814 through K0831, and service options, including 13-month labor contracts and a nationwide field service technician network. Pride also offers multiple financing options through Galaxy Mobility Financial Services, LLC.
“Galaxy Mobility Financial Services, LLC, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pride, designed expressly to help providers transition to the new rental environment,” said Kirsten DeLay, executive vice president, sales management and operational planning.
