Go Go Elite Traveller 2 scooter
Pride Mobility’s latest scooter is a four-wheeler designed to emulate the maneuverability of a three-wheeler.
In an April 1 news announcement, Pride introduced the Go Go Elite Traveller 2 4-Wheel, which the manufacturer said “will set a new industry standard upon launch and boast the tightest turning radius of any four-wheel mobility scooter on the market.” While featuring robust maneuverability, the new scooter’s four-wheel design also provides greater stability versus the designs of many three-wheeled scooters.
Pride displayed the Go Go Elite Traveller 2 4-Wheel in its Medtrade booth in Dallas last week.
The Go Go Elite Traveller 2 4-Wheel uses Pride Mobility’s “patented, intelligent-turning iTurn Technology” to achieve a 37-inch turning radius and an overall length of 39.37 inches.
It has a top speed of 4 mph and a 300-lb. weight capacity. The scooter’s Feather-touch disassembly system separate the device into five pieces, with the heaviest piece — the front section — weighing 35 lbs. The scooter has a range of up to 6.6 miles per charge with a 12AH battery setup, or up to 10.4 miles per charge at maximum user weight capacity with an 18AH battery setup.
Other Go Go Elite Traveller 2 4-Wheel features include two sets of interchangeable shrouds in cardinal red and black (with six additional colors available as an upcharge); angle-adjustable Delta tiller with built-in charging port; non-scuffing, flat-free tires; and a standard front basket.
Standard Go Go Elite Traveller 2 4-Wheel seating measures 17 inches wide by 17 inches deep, with a mesh back. Armrests are adjustable.
The Go Go Elite Traveller 2 4-Wheel is HCPCS coded K0800 (Group 1 standard).
