Packer named director of operations for U.S. Rehab

October 8, 2009 by HME Business

Greg A. Packer has been named director of operations for the U.S. Rehab., the rehab-specific division of VGM Group, Inc.

Packer comes to the VGM Group from Pride Mobility Products Corp., where he was most recently regional coordinator for the Midwest Region. Prior to his tenure with Pride, he was vice president-national account sales for Biocore Medical Technologies, Inc., Topeka, Kan., and launched Packer Cartage Agency, Inc., a local truck line headquartered in Topeka.

“Greg’s new position will allow Jerry (Keiderling, president of U.S. Rehab) to focus more time on building VGM’s latest alliance, Accessible Home Improvement of America, which is aimed at home modifications and creating ways for members to diversify their revenue streams,” said Ron Bendell, president of VGM & Associates. Keiderling is also president of AHIA.

Packer has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business from Iowa State University, Ames, and a master’s of business administration from Baker University, Baldwin City, Kan. He also served three terms in the state of Kansas House of Representatives.

“I’m looking forward to working with U.S. Rehab Members and helping them overcome the extreme challenges that are facing complex rehab providers today,” said Packard.
