Describing her as “a star and a stalwart for HME,” Tom Ryan, the President/CEO of the American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare), honored Kam Yuricich at Medtrade as the 2023 Van Miller Homecare Champion.

Yuricich is the Executive Director of the Ohio Association of Medical Equipment Services (OAMES), as well as the Executive Director of the Great Lakes Home Medical Equipment Association, which covers Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan.

Yuricich has also served as Chair of AAHomecare’s State Leaders Council.

In an April 7 news announcement from OAMES, Ryan said of Yuricich, “She’s brought home bottom-line wins for her members, and she’s also made important contributions that resonate across the industry. Kam’s earned a lot of respect in the HME community, and I’m excited that we are formally recognizing her success and service to this industry.”

Yuricich said, “I’m incredibly honored and humbled to receive this award. The HME community is blessed with smart, tenacious individuals devoted to their staff and homecare patients in their communities. I’m extremely grateful to have made life-long friends as fellow advocates for this extraordinary healthcare industry.”
