Rehab industry products expert Hymie Pogir has joined National Seating & Mobility (NSM) as the Nashville, Tenn. seating &
mobility provider’s vice president of product planning.
Involved in the rehab industry for longer than 25 years, Pogir held multiple positions at Invacare Corp., including vice president of rehab and power products manager. After becoming a partner at Stealth, Pogir helped shape the company’s products and marketing efforts. Most recently, Pogir was vice president of marketing and programs for Sunrise Medical.
In 2001 Hymie received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Registry of Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers (NRRTS).
“Focusing on product quality and selection are two of my specialties,” Pogir said in a prepared statement. “The current issues facing our industry make it more important than ever to be deliberate about the products that we deliver.”
“Hymie brings a lot of experience to NSM,” said NSM President and CEO Mike Ballard. “We’re all very happy to be adding the horsepower. Things are happening fast and we need to be making the right decisions every time.”
