The National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) has opened a new media studio in its Alexandria, Virginia, headquarters.
“This studio will allow us to meet our members where they are,” said NCPA CEO Douglas Hoey. “That’s what NCPA is all about. NCPA members consume media in a variety of ways, and the studio allows us to produce content specific to the varied interests of NCPA membership.”
Hoey introduced the new studio in its latest episode of Independent Rx Forum, the association’s official podcast. The video podcast had been audio only before the studio’s launch.
“The video element is very important especially for younger audiences,” Hoey added. “And we’ll be able to produce more short videos for social media, where many of our members are increasingly spending their time.”
