Motif Aura Glow
A wearable breast pump designed by lactation professionals and featuring a built-in nightlight took top honors at Medtrade’s New Product Pavilion in Dallas, Texas, Feb. 19-20.
The Motif Aura Glow Wearable Breast Pump by Motif Medical took the Provider’s Choice Gold award, as voted on by Medtrade attendees. The hands-free pump includes breast shields, diaphragms, bra strap adjusters, dust covers, collection containers, silicone inserts, and other components to help users achieve the most comfortable and efficient fit.
The Motif Aura Glow has a general pumping mode and a cluster feeing mode “designed by lactation professionals [and] designed to mimic a baby’s cluster feeding pattern,” according to the manufacturer. The Aura Glow takes its name from a built-in nightlight that shines “a spotlight on milk output … making it easy to monitor at any time, day or night.”
The Provider’s Choice Silver award went to Wrappon USA’s Wrappon portable dry toilet system, which wraps and seals waste in plastic for convenient disposal. Best known for its toilet systems used for camping and traveling, the Wrappon version at Medtrade featured armrests, a toilet paper holder, and other components to support the independence and dignity of patients and their caregivers.
The Dashmoto, a compact, three-wheeled scooter, won the Provider’s Choice Bronze award. The lightweight scooter features a carbon fiber frame, a removable seat, and a foldable head tube to facilitate transportability. The Dashmoto scooter has a top speed of 18 mph and a range of 15 to 28 miles per charge.
In 2026, Medtrade will be held March 2-4 in Phoenix, Arizona, as the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center is unavailable due to scheduling conflicts with the FIFA World Cup soccer tournament. Medtrade returns to Dallas in 2027.
