Merits Health Products Launches Company-Wide ERP

May 25, 2023 by Laurie Watanabe

Merits Health Products is launching a new, company-wide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system on June 5.

In a May 17 announcement, Merits said the new system “will bring improved efficiencies and greater transparency across all areas of the business. It has been designed to streamline our operations, allow us to track inventory levels in real time, generate quotes and invoices quicker, and manage our customer communication more effectively.”

Under the new ERP, documents such as quotes, order confirmations, shipping confirmations, and invoices “will have a new look,” Merits said. Merits is offering customers the chance to preview the documents before the June 5 changeover and asked customers to contact their Merits sales representatives for that opportunity.

Other changes related to the ERP will happen “in the background” and won’t be noticeable to customers, Merits added.

As far as what to expect as the ERP rolls out, the announcement said, “Merits offices in Florida and Nevada will not ship on Thursday and Friday, June 1-2, and resume shipping on Monday, June 5. Quotes will continue to be entered during those days.”

Providers with questions can call Merits’ sales department at (239) 772-0579.
